Daria is a actress/singer/dancer and NY native, with experience working in regional theatre, independent film and television productions. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and an Equity Membership Candidate.
Daria will begin rehearsals later this month for Meredith Wilson's Miracle on 34th Street, the musical at Fireside Theatre in Wisconsin, where she will be understudying the lead role of Doris Walker. Previous to this, she performed in Sister Act at Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Hilton Head, South Carolina with direction by Evan Pappas. Over the summer, she was cast in a reading of a new TV pilot, which was performed at The Tank as part of their Pilot Program. She had also been cast as a dancer in a choreography lab lead by Elizabeth Troxler: Catch her tap dancing in "Thoroughly (Really) Modern Millie" here on Vimeo!
Born and raised on Long Island, Daria began to study dance and voice at an early age. As a child, she performed regularly on the children’s television program, “Zebby’s Zoo,” which aired on PBS stations across the country. In high school, Daria spent her summers at ACTeen (Weist-Barron Studios, NYC) taking courses in acting for theatre, film, and television and was later accepted to Yale University’s Summer Conservatory Program in Acting. She continued her training at University of Miami where she double majored in Video-Film (B.S.C) and Theater Arts (B.A). Upon graduation, she returned to New York, where she continues to live, work and train. Daria is a member of One-On-One NYC; can be seen taking dance classes at studios such as BDC, Steps, and Alvin Ailey; and studies voice with Elena Shaddow.
When not performing, Daria teaches dance and has received special recognition for her competition choreography. She also enjoys finding new books on her Kindle, watching anything created by BBC, and working in film production.
